Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare
Large families traveling with Renfe in Spain can benefit from 20% discounts for general category families and 50% for special category families on most train services, including AVE and Larga Distancia. These offers exclude AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías services. For single-parent families, discounts apply only to Rodalies trains in Catalonia with the appropriate documentation from the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Renfe Children Fare
Renfe offers a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children are allowed to select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or request refunds based on the ticket type, which may involve a fee. With the Más Renfe Joven Card, which costs €50, Renfe offers up to 30% off train fares for young people aged 14 to 25. This card is valid for a year and is non-transferable. Enjoy a 30% discount on AVE and AVE international trains, and get a 25% discount on Avant, Cercanías, and Rodalies trains.
