Renfe Spanish Large Families Fare

Renfe supports large families in Spain with discounted fares, offering 20% for general and 50% for special category families on AVE and Larga Distancia trains. However, these discounts are not valid on AVE International, Avant, or Cercanías trains. Additionally, single-parent families can enjoy discounts on Rodalies services in Catalonia by presenting a certificate issued by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Renfe Children Fare

Renfe grants a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. Elige Confort is slightly more expensive than Elige Estándar. The main difference is that the seats are XL Confort, which are wider and offer more leg room.

Prémium is the most expensive fare, offering unlimited free changes and refunds, and XL Confort Seating.
